  • I've been visiting the area for a few months and I've visited this church 3 times. The people seem friendly. I enjoyed it very much. The priest gives a good sermon and actually makes you think. He seemed very knowledgeable. I was early and there were several teenagers reciting the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. That was so wonderful to see these kids knowing this and doing it. Also looked like several kids involved in the Mass. He is the first priest I've ever seen reminding parents to make sure little ones weren't running around or eating and reminding not to chew gum during Mass. The impression I got was that they care about these kiddos! I would definitely come back for a visit if in town again. I spent most time at the basilica but also visited a couple other local parishes during my stay.
